True Colors is everything that fans loved about the first game and Before the Storm. A great cast of characters, a likeable setting, and an elaborate murder plot. Everything about this game from its music, scenery, and graphics are great. Alex's powers aren't as elaborate as Max's time puzzle segments, but they are still interesting to play with.
It's a good game. I took the time to get the platinum trophy on Playstation. The only negative thing about True Colors is the lack of impact in the choices. No matter what you choose throughout the entire game, no one (aside from Gabe) dies, you don't really sacrifice anything or anyone, and the villain has the same fate.
The gameplay elements feel more fleshed out this time, making it easier to immerse yourself in both Haven Springs and the story itself. Life is Strange: True Colors is both harrowing and wonderful
I don't think it references any other game events. The only thing I heard was a few DLC cosmetic clothes items are references to the others. fortybelowsummer 2 years ago #3. A major character Steph is in Before the Storm but you don't have to know that to play True Colors. You can play it without having played any of the others.
