GameBoy Advance Raspberry Pi Kit. A custom PCB kit designed to fit inside a GameBoy Advance SP shell with minimum shell modification. Runs on a Raspberry Pi Zero or Zero 2 and allows you to play thousands of retro games using Retropie. Uses rechargeable lithium batteries which can be recharged via USB-C. Includes safe shut-down and power-off The build equips the Pocket with some amenities of its cousin, the SP—including an internal battery and backlit screen. Read more about the project on my blog. We expect the new Raspberry Pi Zero units (with the new feature) to be available in two to three weeks’ time. There is a GBA consolizer kit, the Gamecube GBA player, and worse comes to worse a retron5 will do emulation using your original carts. I don't want to consoleize it though, and it's a lot more work to solder everything into that kind of kit than a HDMI mod generally is. And in my opinion I would never touch a retron, they are just cheap
Well screen mods plus a case will run you close to $100 not counting the console, but yeah compared to current "ok" shells which are around $10 this price is pretty inflated. Probably once interest picks up the price can come down, might not be from the original designer or same quality though Dependent_Narwhal. 3CKSI3S.
