Late to the party here, but DS4 works if you change emulation to Xbox 360, even if you have a PS4/5 controller. Find your controller in DS4 and click 'edit.' From there, on the 'controller tab' find 'other.' Change emulation from PS4 to Xbox360 then 'apply' and 'save.' Had this problem with Gears 5 and was the same for this game. Should work now. Set virtual controller type to "DualShock 4". UNBIND ALL touchpad related "controls" in the left side of the profile editor. Check the list of controls in the left side, find all touchpad actions, open them then unbind. On the right side of the profile editor, go to the "touchpad" tab and change it to "Passthru". Anova's Origin Apr 15, 2015 @ 9:21am. My DS4 controller is working fine with Bluetooth and GTA V. Note that the controller has to be tethered to your PC and the profile loaded before you launch GTA. If you connect the controller after GTA starts, it won't recognize the new controller input. Also, check the "Hide DS4" option in DS4Window's settings.
