There is a pretty big difference between 3rd and 4th gen though. 4th gen was the first to have an actual App Store and therefore has a legit Plex app. Not to mention a different (maybe not better) remote, and a significantly better processor. So I got a free app on the Itunes store to watch programming on the CW (TV network) - I can see it in my online Itunes account under 'apps' but its not showing up on the Apple TV menu I know that my Itunes account is in order and communicating with the Apple TV insofar as a TV show I purchased a season pass for is downloading onto the apple TV
Apple TV (3rd Gen) will not connect to App Store! My Apple TV will not connect to the App Store at all! An even bigger issue is that now it will not even allow me to sign back in after I signed out (using a suggestion I found on Apples website.
